Trace Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

Trace is owned and operated by Grady Dexter Preece. For privacy questions or support, contact hello@wanderhub.com. This policy describes the Trace iPhone and iPad app.

Photos, files and camera

Trace processes your chosen images and camera frames on your device. It does not upload them to Grady Dexter Preece or to an app server. The camera is used to show your paper beneath the tracing overlay. A frozen camera frame and your selected image are held in memory for the current session; Trace does not save a tracing project between launches. Your original images remain in the location you selected them from.

Your choices and permissions

Trace asks for camera permission. You can change this in iOS Settings at any time. The system Photos and Files pickers give Trace access to the items you choose, rather than your whole library. If an item is stored in iCloud or another file provider, that provider may download it to your device under its own privacy policy.

Purchases

Apple handles payments, subscriptions, trial eligibility and refunds. Trace uses StoreKit to verify purchase entitlement on your device. Trace does not receive your payment-card details or ask you to create a Trace account. Apple may provide the developer with sales and financial reports through App Store Connect. Apple’s services and reporting are governed by Apple’s privacy information.

Accounts, analytics and advertising

Trace has no user accounts, advertising, tracking tools or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not send your tracing activity or selected images to us. Apple may separately process App Store or operating-system diagnostics according to your Apple settings.

When you contact support

If you email hello@wanderhub.com, your email address, message and anything you choose to attach will be processed through the email service to answer your request. Please do not send payment-card details. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve enquiries and meet applicable obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your support information, subject to applicable law.

External links

Opening support email, Apple’s Terms of Use or a public policy page uses an external service. A web host may receive normal request information such as your IP address when you visit a webpage. Reading this policy inside Trace does not require opening a website.

Updates

This policy may be updated when Trace’s features or data practices change. The current policy will be available in the app and at its published privacy-policy link. Last updated: 14 September 2026.
